On the 14th of May the GTAC people came to talk to us about gases and their properties, structure and uses.
We explored the topic by observing what would happen if we put a ping pong ball in a cup and observe what would happen. If we tipped the cup diagonally some air and gas would come out as bubbles.
I learnt that whenever you tip a glass over air would come out and that if you put a ping pong ball in a cup it would get smaller.
I now understand that particles can be apart or together.
A question I still have is Can the particles be both together and apart?
